Change log

To the students of the Department of Chemistry

(Posted April 20)

The Department of Chemistry expects all students to take appropriate action to limit the spread of COVID-19 in accordance with the April 16 declaration of a state of emergency to the entire nation, including Okayama Prefecture, and the April 17 instruction of Okayama University. In particular, we hope that you will make an active effort to prepare for and review the online lectures that will begin on April 20. Please be sure to check the website of Okayama University as well as the website of the Faculty of Science and the Department of Chemistry so that you can study smoothly in the first semester.

During the period when the state of emergency is declared, the Okayama University Co-op will stop selling textbooks face-to-face and will provide home delivery services.

If you have any questions, please contact the Student Affairs Section of the Faculty of Science or your homeroom teacher in the Department of Chemistry.

We look forward to the end of the spread of COVID-19 as soon as possible so that we can study together in the classroom again.

For Faculties, Staffs, and Students

Please watch the University web page.

For Students

COVID-19's situation has worsened, so please be mindful of your health, don't go out and study regularly at home. Also, keep an eye out for information from the university. If you have any problems, please consult with your homeroom teacher by e-mail or phone.

The start of the lecture has been postponed to April 20. Please read the linked documents carefully and be prepared for what you need to study at home before the lecture.

Textbook Delivery

(Added on April 13)

If you live in an emergency-declared area and find it difficult to purchase textbooks, you can also use the Co-op's home delivery service.

Please visit the Co-op's website at https://mycoop.jp/okadai/text for more information on "textbook delivery service".

At the moment it says "we'll let you know as soon as we can", but "we'll be ready to order on the 16th of April".

The person in charge is Mr. Shimizu of the Co-op, 086-256-4100.

In addition, even students in the prefecture who are not feeling well or who are far away can have the product delivered to their home (postage is the responsibility of the purchaser).
